Why Synergistic Capitalism?
Uniting our transnational world for economic growth and peace while allowing for differences and achievement of potential, combined with embracing change as customary behavior is Synergistic Capitalism’s overall purpose.
Because we are living in a different world in the 21st century, we need a different model for how the world operates. We need different cultures, different structures, self-understanding, and different skills to guide our thinking and behavior.
Synergistic Capitalism: Solutions for Personal and Organizational Opportunity in Our Transnational World* provides a comprehensive, sequential, five-step guide for moving from autocracies, hierarchies, and external control over our thoughts and actions to internal control. Synergistic competition—based on learning what makes each of us and our organizations unique—replaces competition identified by winners and losers, bullying, and manipulation.
Additional changes from the status quo include: (1) uniting toward a common goal instead of compromise to appease separate agendas, (2) economic growth and opportunity for everyone replacing limited opportunity, resentment, and redistribution, (3) personal responsibility instead of learned helplessness, dependency, and external control, and (4) creativity, learning, and innovation replacing conformity, fear of failure, and fear of the unknown.
The self-understanding and skills characteristic of Synergistic Capitalism establish a supportive environment for economic growth and peace. Unlimited combinations of individuals form small groups then larger and even larger groups with unlimited interactions in a system representative of the complexity in our transnational world.
Synergistic Capitalism’s philosophy establishes the overall culture and common aim** for the system, but our transnational world has no one ruling body as with a hierarchy. We—individually and in groups of all types—have the responsibility to govern ourselves using civility, law, and mutual respect as our guide for maintaining harmonious relationships.
