Marie Bacot, Ph.D. is uniquely qualified to assist individuals and organizations with the challenges facing our transnational world in the 21st century. She is the creator of the Bacot Organizational Learning and Innovation Scale (BOLIS), a diagnostic instrument designed to help corporations meet the demands of their turbulent business environment.
After Dr. Bacot discovered resistance to her cutting-edge methods, she began extensive, independent research in diverse areas to provide guidance for moving from closed, autocratic, hierarchical cultures. As a result, she developed Synergistic Capitalism, a systemic, free market system for the prevention of underachievement in individuals, for-profit and non-profit organizations, and government at all levels.
Although Dr. Bacot was raised to be an achiever as a way of life, negative experiences related to her achievements led her to hide many abilities for over 20 years. This denial of her uniqueness in the interest of conformity to other people’s standards motivates her to share what she has learned about removing internal and external blocks to help others achieve their full potential.
Dr. Bacot’s strategies include learning and innovative organization, continuous improvement, and creative problem solving. Her methods help identify existing strengths, develop synergistic teams, and create a proactive agenda to give individuals and all organizations increased control over their constantly shifting, intensely competitive environment.
A graduate of Millsaps College and the University of New Orleans, Dr. Bacot is listed in multiple editions of Marquis’ Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women, and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest and is a 2017 Worldwide Lifetime Achievement inductee.
